Limited Services Agreement(Required)Limited Scope Representation Agreement Governing Legal Services Provided by Lahti Legal Services From time to time, MI Easy Forms may perform access to optional legal advice and lawyer services. MI Easy Forms, LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal services. As such, MI Easy Forms had arranged with Lahti Legal Services, PLC (“LLS”), to make certain limited scope legal services available to its customers. This Limited Scope Representation Agreement (“Attorney Agreement”) governs your relationship with LLS. Your relationship with MI Easy Forms is governed by its Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Practitioners at LLS are independent lawyers. They are licensed in their jurisdiction to provide legal advice. They will exercise their independent judgment as attorneys in providing you legal services. MI Easy Forms will not interfere in any way with LLS’s independent professional judgment or with your attorney-client relationship with LLS. By purchasing legal services, you and LLS enter a limited scope attorney-client relationship defined by the services you purchased. LLS agrees to provide legal services upon your payment of the fee for those services. To facilitate LLS’s legal services, you authorize MI Easy Forms to provide them with your name, email address, as well as any pleadings you have prepared and/or filed, or will prepare or file, using MI Easy Forms services. Upon LLS’s receipt of all or any portion of the fee you paid for legal services, such funds are the property of LLS and will not be placed in a trust account. The fact that you have paid your fee in advance does not affect your right to terminate the attorney-client relationship. If your relationship with LLS terminates before the purchased legal services have been provided, you may have a right to a refund of all or a portion of that fee. You have the right to rescind this contract within 24 hours of purchase. If you wish to cancel, please email [email protected] within 24 hours of purchase and we will immediately refund your payment. Assuming you have not canceled the contract by email, you waive any right to receive any portion of a refund unless LLS terminates the services. In the event that we refund your payment, partially or in full, credit card processing fees are non-refundable. If you have not yet paid the fee in full, installment payments will continue until the entire fee has been satisfied. If you have scheduled an appointment with an attorney, you must cancel it at least 24 hours prior to the appointment to avoid forfeiture of your payment. LLS will act in your best interest and give you competent assistance. However, LLS’s legal services are strictly limited to those you have purchased and no more. LLS will not perform any additional legal work for you, such as filing your documents or representing you in court. In other words, LLS will provide you legal services in a limited capacity and will not represent you in your entire legal matter. You will be representing yourself and managing your own legal matter, with the limited assistance of the legal services you purchased. MI Easy Forms or LLS may, based on local rules or practices, be required to put their name, attorney registration number, and contact information on pleadings prepared and/or filed using MI Easy Forms software and services. Please understand that this does not mean LLS or MI Easy Forms will appear for you or represent you in court or sign any documents on your behalf. LLS will rely entirely on the facts, information and documents you provide. LLS will not make any independent investigation of your facts or information, or the authenticity of any documents you provide. It is therefore extremely important that you are completely truthful, even if the information you provide is embarrassing or unflattering to you or others. LLS and MI Easy Forms are not promising you a favorable result. LLS’s representation of you ends when the legal services you have purchased have been provided. Consent I have read this Limited Scope Representation Agreement and understand it. By clicking on the “I agree” box, I indicate my consent to the terms of this agreement, that the legal services I have purchased are the only legal services to be provided by LLS, and that LLS is not required to assist or represent me in any further or other legal matters. I understand that the fee described on the MI Easy Forms website is my payment for the services of LLS and that it will be compensated for its services from that payment directly into a separate account from any MI Easy Forms account. By consenting to this Agreement, I grant MI Easy Forms permission to receive, store, forward, and review communications between myself and LLS, solely for the purpose of facilitating such communications and LLS’s services under this Agreement. I understand that MI Easy Forms has agreed to keep such communications and the information contained therein confidential to at least the same level of privacy as required by LLS under the laws and rules governing LLS’s communications with me. To the extent this Agreement conflicts with the Privacy Policy, this Agreement controls. I have read and agree to the above Limited Services Agreement.
